With the first option ‘change room capacity’ it is possible to block a part of a room (one

You see the capacity of this particular room (in this case 2), and you can adjust the
capacity with ‘-1’ to block one of the beds.
You can add the expected end date and select a reason. Please be aware that if you
choose the reason Staff, the PKS-price will be recalculated.
You can also add a description: this is a free text field.
Finally click on ‘change capacity’ and you can see in orange that the room capacity has
changed, in this case1 bed is blocked:

Unblocking works as follows.

There are 3 possibilities now:
• Remove the current blockage → remove the blockage of the 1 bed, the whole
room is available again
• Change the room capacity → block also the other bed
• Block room → block the complete room
Remarks:
- blocking beds can be done either in QQ (by Housing Planning or Quality
Control) or in Lento arrivals (by Welfare Officers).
- You can see who performed the blockage. If blocked in QQ, you will see the
message: ‘Made by API’. If blocked in Lento Arrivals, you will see the user (e.g.,
Made by Housing Planning or the name of a Welfare Officer)
