You simply enter your ID for verification by taking a photo of it or by uploading an existing photo of it. If you want to take a picture of your ID yourself, hold your document in front of the camera of the device you are using and take a picture. You must have the front of your identity document in the picture. If you want to upload an existing photo from your device, use the Upload photo button and choose the correct file. The file should not exceed 9.5 MB. Make sure your ID meets the following conditions: A valid passport/ID card (a driving licence is not a valid identity document); The document must be valid for at least 2 months from the date of signing the contract; you must be at least 18 years old to be able to register.
You will also be asked to take a selfie. This selfie will be compared with the photo of your identity document to check if the details you have filled in are correct.
A few extra tips:
- Take the photo in a room with plenty of light. Make sure there is no shadow over it and no strange reflections.
- Hold your ID as close to the camera as possible, making sure the details are sharply legible.
- Avoid getting your fingers in the picture and blocking the text reading.
- Make sure the selfie resembles the photograph on your passport as closely as possible. For example, if you are wearing glasses in the photo on your ID, do this as well to take your selfie.
